Designed a collaborative installation game where players guide stars to form constellations
Starry Dream is an interactive multiplayer 2D installation game built with Phidgets that turns physical actions, like blowing, into a collaborative digital experience. Two players work together to launch and guide a shooting star across the night sky. One player blows into a force sensor to determine the star’s initial speed, while the others control its horizontal movement using IR-reflective sensors. By coordinating their actions, players must guide the star to specific points to form constellations. The game blends playful interaction, learning, and teamwork, encouraging participants to connect physical gestures with digital animation in a festival-like environment.
My role was to design the UX flow, created the 2D assets, and made physical props.
